Founding Partner & Clinical Leadership
Tamikiia brings more than a decade of nursing and advanced-practice experience to the vision behind Ivory & Oak Communities. Her career has included family practice, hospital medicine, internal medicine, acute care, preoperative nursing, telemedicine, and the care and evaluation of veterans.
As both a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, her experience spans routine healthcare needs as well as the complex medical conditions that often affect older adults.
As a founding partner, Tamikiia helps shape the standards and philosophy behind Ivory & Oak Communities. Her clinical background reinforces an approach centered on recognizing the whole person, communicating with families, respecting individual needs, and maintaining high expectations for those entrusted with caring for our residents.
Her commitment to service extends beyond healthcare through years of volunteer work supporting veterans and the community.
Her experience helps guide our philosophy: compassionate care, thoughtful oversight, and dignity at every stage of life.

Ivory & Oak Communities was founded with a simple belief: exceptional care should feel personal.
We are creating an intimate, home-style alternative to traditional senior living—one where residents are known as individuals, families feel heard, and dignity, independence, and quality of life remain at the center of everything we do.
Our approach is shaped by real healthcare experience and an understanding that caring for someone means more than meeting their daily needs. It means building relationships, recognizing changes, listening carefully, and creating an environment where residents feel safe, respected, comfortable, and genuinely at home.
Clinical leadership is an important part of that vision. Tamikiia A. Allen-Brown, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C, LNC, brings extensive nursing and advanced-practice experience across hospital medicine, internal medicine, primary care, urgent care, veterans’ healthcare, perioperative care, and complex patient care.
That experience helps shape the standards and philosophy behind Ivory & Oak Communities—combining compassionate personal support with thoughtful, knowledgeable leadership.
Because to us, better care begins with knowing the person behind the care.

At Ivory & Oak Communities, we believe a home should feel like home — not an institution.
Our approach combines the warmth and familiarity of residential living with thoughtful support, meaningful relationships, and a commitment to each resident’s dignity and independence.
With a smaller residential setting, our team has the opportunity to truly know the people we serve — their routines, preferences, personalities, stories, and the little things that make each day feel familiar.
Families deserve more than updates. They deserve communication, transparency, and the confidence of knowing their loved one is surrounded by people who genuinely care.
Families deserve more than updates. They deserve communication, transparency, and the confidence of knowing their loved one is surrounded by people who genuinely care.
Because at Ivory & Oak, care is personal. Home is intentional. And every life deserves to be lived with dignity.
